Content tags and the decision making process
Login
Once you complete the moderator onboarding process, you will receive your unique login credentials.
Select the ' start ' button once logged in, and you’re ready to begin moderating content.
Content queue
Content that requires moderation is added to a queue for the moderation team to work through. This screen will be presented on the rare occasion when no content is currently being held in the queue.
Content moderation view
The content moderation view displays an individual piece of content and all information required to make a decision.
The content is displayed for review, with any issues tagged by the AI moderation process shown on the right.
Where applicable, the uploader of the content and other participants are shown to aid in any decisions regarding the age or identity of participants in the content.
Content tags and the decision making process
For a more detailed guide on content decisions, please view Content Moderator Guidelines.
Incorrect tags
In this example, the uploader has been verified as 18+ but incorrectly tagged as potentially underage.
Before approving content, all incorrect tags must be removed by clicking the 'x' to remove the tag.
Once removed, the tag is struck through, and the content can be approved.
To approve content, click the 'approve' button and confirm your decision by ticking the checkbox and clicking 'confirm'.
Correct tags
In this example, the content has been tagged as underage, and there is clear evidence the participants in this content are underage.
In cases where an issue has been confirmed, the content must be rejected. To reject the content, click the 'reject' button and confirm your decision by ticking the checkbox and clicking 'reject'.
Adding issue tags
Issues identified within the content but not tagged by the AI moderation process can be added using the '+' button.
A list of preset issues is displayed for you to choose from. Once selected, confirm by clicking the 'confirm' button.
Once an issue has been added, it will appear in the issues found list. Identifying and adding issues when moderating content is an integral part of the moderation process as it helps train the AI moderation to identify issues more accurately.
Adding additional tags
If a violation does not match the preset tags, please select ‘Other’ and add the violation manually. Only one tag can be added at a time and should be limited to no more than 2-3 words.
Please refer to the Content Moderator Guidelines for a list of ‘Other’ tags commonly used.
Underage tag age range
When rejecting content with an underage tag, you'll be asked to select the estimated age range of the underage subject. Please select the age range you believe is most accurate.
The next piece of content in the moderation queue will appear once the current content is approved or rejected.
